Statistician-General releases Mid-year population estimates
The Statistician-General of South Africa, Dr Pali Lehohla, will release the 2017 Mid-year population estimates at a media briefing to be held on Monday, 31 July 2017 in Pretoria. The report provides population estimates at national and provincial level disaggregated by age groups, various demographic indicators as well as estimates of HIV prevalence.
