The Eastern Cape Provincial Legislature will host the annual Sitting of the House for the Premier of the Province, Mr Phumulo Masualle, to present the State of the Province Address (SOPA).
This Sitting provides a platform for the Premier to communicate the provincial government’s programme and priorities for the ensuing financial year. The Honourable Speaker of the Legislature, Ms Noxolo Kiviet, will preside over this Sitting scheduled to take place on Friday, 19 February 2016, 09h00 at the Legislature precincts in Bhisho.
For a live broadcast of proceedings members of the public are urged to visit Public Viewing Areas in various districts of the province.
