Special Provincial Official Funeral for Mr Ndleleni Moses Duma
The President of the Republic of South Africa has approved the request by the North West Provincial Government for the late Mr Ndleleni Moses Duma to be accorded a Special Provincial Official Funeral (Category 2). The funeral will take place on Saturday, 01 December 2018, at Ikageng stadium in Potchefstroom, from 07h00.
The Premier of the North West Province, Prof Tebogo Job Mokgoro will deliver a eulogy at the funeral service.
In line with this funeral status, the President has ordered that the National flag be flown at half-mast at all flag posts in the North West Province on the day of Mr Duma’s funeral service.
Duma who passed on last Friday, 23 November 2018 after a long illness, has been described as a humble, disciplined and selfless leader, who made a significant contribution and distinguished himself in his service to the people of South Africa, and the North West Provincial Government in particular.
At the time of his passing, Mr Duma (60) was a Member of the Provincial Legislature.
