Special Provincial EXCO to prioritise water and sanitation issues
The Bokone Bophirima Executive Council will during its special sitting which will be attended by the Minister of Water and Sanitation Nomvula Mokonyane on Thursday, 17 December 2015, pay special attention to issues of water and sanitation in the Province, this in the wake of drought that has affected the Province and most parts of the country.
It is expected that Minister Mokonyane will hand over water trucks to Premier SOR Mahumapelo for distribution to the most affected areas in the Province, particularly Ngaka Modiri Molema District Municipality.
The EXCO sitting which will be held at Moruleng village, Moses Kotane Local Municipality, will amongst others, receive reports on the establishment of Setsokotsane Operation Centre and the performance of State Owned Entities (SOEs).
Premier Mahumapelo invites members of the media to cover the handing over of water trucks and capture the EXCO sitting highlights.
