Premier Supra Mahumapelo holds prayer session at Moretele Local Municipality, 11 Dec

Speaker of the North West Legislature, Hon. Dantjie and Premier Supra Mahumapelo together Embark for Change at the Moretele Local Municipality

In celebration of the month dedicated to reconciliation, the Speaker of the North West Provincial Legislature, Hon Sussana Dantjie will be joined by the Premier of the North West province, Premier Supra Mahumapelo in prayer with the community of Lebotloane on Friday, 11 December 2015, at the Villa Sports Ground, (next to Agrico Hall) Lebotloane in the Moretele Local Municipality at 10h00.

The prayer session is a reconciliation, healing and renewal programme which is a political, religious and social discourse that continues to seek divine interventions to heal differences, anger, and division brought about by political infights, painful pasts and mainly the psychological effects caused by the apartheid regime.

It is the last event of the year amongst a series of events that have been hosted on this programme throughout the year at various municipalities.

In most land areas that have been affected by drought, Pastors, Reverends, Arch-Bishops, Political dignitaries and congregations will also pray for rain, which has posed a threat to the agricultural environment as one of the pillars of economic development in the province.

The event has brought about positive impact in the lives of communities where it has already passed in particular by bring unity amongst the churches.

The communities of Lebotloane and surrounding areas are privileged to have this closing event graced by the Premier of the North West province.

We therefore call upon all members of the community, pastors and congregants to honour this auspicious event.
