Minister Ramatlhodi and Deputy Minister Dlodlo to make surprise visit to Soweto government service points

Minister for Public Service and Administration, Adv. Ngoako Ramatlhodi and his Deputy, Ayanda Dlodlo will tomorrow (Wednesday, 27) make unannounced visit to a series of government service delivery points in Soweto to observe if government services are rendered in line with Batho Pele principles, the notion of putting people first.

The visit seeks to respond to service delivery challenges experienced by citizens through capacitating government institutions with the requisite skills and information to improve the level of service delivery quality.

Minister Ramatlhodi and Deputy Minister Dlodlo’s visit will allow citizens an opportunity to engage on the successes and failure within the system; an opportunity to liaise with staff to ascertain the challenges they are experiencing and obstacles that hinder their maximum delivery of services; as well as an engagement with management to discuss these challenges as well as to provide support in ensuring that the service delivery in these areas is enhanced.
