Members of the media are invited to a media briefing where the South African government will brief the media on the outcomes of the negotiations on the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA):

The briefing will be addressed by the Minister of Trade and Industry, Dr Rob Davies, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Mr Senzeni Zokwana and the Minister of Health, Dr Aaron Motsoaledi. South Africa and the United States have been working towards finalising outstanding issues relating to phytosanitary and sanitary measures on US agricultural products.
