South Africa and Namibia to sign Bilateral Agreement
The Minister of Transport, Ms Dipuo Peters and her Namibian counterpart, Mr Alpheus G Naruseb will sign a Bilateral Air Services Agreement (BASA) on Thursday, 13 October 2016 at the PRASA corporate offices in Hatfield.
The agreement between the two countries will strengthen the already existing civil aviation relations between the two countries and give the airlines in the two countries rights to operate between the two countries.
The signing ceremony follows the review of the already existing Bilateral Air Services Agreement between the neighbouring countries which took place in Namibia on the 11th and 12th March 2015.
The signing ceremony will take place as follows:
