Gauteng Social Transformation Cluster MECs will on Thursday, 26 May 2016, table their respective department’s Budget Votes for 2016/17 financial year at the Gauteng Provincial Legislature.
The MECs Budget Vote speeches will reflect on the progress made in implementing the government’s ten pillar programme of Transformation, Modernisation and Reindustrialisation thus far. They will also communicate further plans and tangible solutions to continue transforming how government delivers services to Gauteng residents.
The Social Cluster is made up of the Members of the Executive Council for the following portfolios: Health; Education; Sports, Arts, Culture and Recreation; Community Safety; and Social Development.
The Budget Votes will be preceded by a media briefing led by the cluster chairperson, MEC Qedani Mahlangu.
