Sport infrastructure is an issue which we take very seriously because it is such infrastructure that will help us ensure that the youth is not engaged in any delinquent practices such as crime but that they are active in sport. Moreover, the development of sport infrastructure in our province is important because one of the mandates we derive from the National Development Plan (NDP) as the Department relates to using sport and recreation to promote social cohesion,” said Free State MEC for Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation Mrs. NS Leeto.
