Minister Ngoako Ramatlhodi interacts with Sasolburg residents, 22 Mar

Sasolburg community gears up for service delivery Imbizo

As he continues his quest for improved provision of services by government to citizens, Minister for the Public Service and Administration, Advocate Ngoako Ramatlhodi will meet the community of Sasolburg in the Northern Free State on Tuesday 22, March 2016 to interact with local residents as part of his ‘Batho Pele- putting people first’ programme.

The Imbizo, which will take place just a day after South Africa celebrated its Human Rights Day, will afford the residents in the Metsimaholo Local Municipality a chance to engage with the Minister- joined by the Provincial and local government leadership- and provide a valuable opportunity to update them on service delivery programmes while determining their level of satisfaction when interfacing with government.

During his visit, Minister Ramatlhodi is also expected to interact  with the frontline public servants at service delivery points particularly the health services about the status of service delivery and what should be done to enable them to do their work better, faster and smarter in line with the Batho Pele Principles.

Members of the community will also have the opportunity to receive services and engage with officials from service delivery departments that will be available on the day of the event.

The Minister’s programme is a strategic vehicle that enables government to interact with citizens in its quest to improve service provision in support of the priorities of government.
