Gauteng SAPS pulls out all stops to ensure safe holidays
The South African Police Service in Gauteng, under the leadership of the Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Deliwe de Lange, will officially launch the provincial leg of the Operation Back2Basics: Safer Festive Season campaign, and hand over the Gauteng Safer Festive Season Operational Plan to the MEC of Community Safety in the Province, Honourable Ms Sizakele Nkosi-Malobane.
This year's provincial campaign will see an intensified, integrated and multi-disciplinary approach supported by all law enforcement agencies in the Province, relevant Government departments, as well as some key stakeholders in the business fraternity.
