Invitation to a round-table discussion on the use of skin lighteners and hair straighteners
As part of Women's Month, the Ministry of Science and Technology will host a roundtable on Women and Science under the theme "Science and the legacy of apartheid on black image", the event will discuss the use of skin lighteners and hair straighteners.
An impressive list of academics, pharmaceutical representatives, gender activists, social commentators, and others have been invited to lead and join in the discussions.
