The Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC) in its endeavor to develop a new cadre of traffic officers who are skilled and equipped to address an array of road safety matters on our roads, will host a certification ceremony for those who completed the further education and development training.
The Corporation believes that; the up-skilled traffic officers will be one of the important and effective tools to fight the carnage on our roads going into the festive season. Consequently the RTMC hopes to enhance service delivery in the traffic law enforcement fraternity and bring about safer roads by facilitating and coordinating high quality training for all road traffic officers.
The skills traffic officers will possess after completing the four months programme will be in the the following aspects:
- National Road Traffic Act
- Legal Modules
- AARTO ( Administration, Adjudication of Road Traffic Offences) and;
- Examining of Motor Vehicles
