Limpopo Legislature goes on recess

Recess of the Limpopo Legislature

At a Sitting of the Limpopo Legislature on Tuesday, 27 June 2017, Chief Whip – Falaza Mdaka moved a Motion in the House for the Legislature to go on recess until Tuesday, 15 August 2017.

Normal Sittings of the Legislature would be on recess, but Members of the Provincial Legislature (MPLs) will continue conducting oversight over Govt Depts. These includes visiting Govt projects and Portfolio Committee meetings to ensure a continued delivery of services to the people of Limpopo.

The Chief Whip encourages the people of Limpopo to continue interfacing with their elected leaders, at the level of Constituency Offices to raise service delivery concerns, instead of engaging in unlawful protests.
