The National Department of Public Works will host a Dialogue session for youth on 28 November 2016 at North West 405 Local Municipality formerly known as Tlokwe Municipality before the incorporation of Ventersdorp Local Municipality.
The Dialogue session is aimed at young people up to the age of 35, who will form part of discussions which will expose them to empowerment opportunities that are offered by the National Department of Public Works.
Three hundred (300) young people who are unemployed and out of school, including those with disabilities from Tlokwe and Ventersdorp region are the main targets of the dialogue session. The Department of Public Works is playing an important role of empowering young people by offering those deserving ones bursaries to pursue built environment discipline. It also provides them with opportunities in the Department through the Human Capital Investment (HCI). Among those who will participate in the dialogue is National Youth Development Agency and Expanded Public Works Programme’s Vuk’uphile.
