The Department of Public Works continues to invest in education and skills development aimed at building the country
Please receive the attached invite from National Department of Public Works for the annual Winter School camp for 123 learners doing grade 10 to 12, who are interested in pursuing careers in the built industry. The schools programme selection criteria targets top performing Grade 10-12 learners with a Minimum achievement of 60% in maths and science and offers them bursaries.
During the winter school camp, Maths and Science tutorials are offered for the duration of the camp in a bid to address learning gaps and to focus on remedial work. Built environment Young Professionals from the Department of Public Works will have exciting and practical presentations aimed at attracting the learners into the Built environment.
