The Mpumalanga Provincial Treasury in conjunction with Ehlanzeni District Municipality will on Thursday, 7th November 2019 host a regional Supply Chain Management Indaba (SCM), at Mbombela.
This is the last Indaba to be held in the Province; it follows the successful sessions, which were held in the other two District Municipalities within the Province. The first one was held in August at Ermelo, Gert Sibande District, whereas the second was held in September at Middelburg, Nkangala District.
The Supply Chain Management Indaba is a platform for engagement between the Provincial Government, the District Municipalities and Suppliers on procurement policy and the opportunities available in the public and private sectors.
The Indaba will be held under the theme “leveraging public sector opportunities to grow Mpumalanga”.
Government Departments and Public Entities are amongst stakeholders that are expected to present on the procurement opportunities and provide onsite services on the financial and non-financial support services available to small businesses.
The SCM Indaba will take place in Ehlanzeni District Municipality as follows:
