Provincial Government to host VTSD Skills Development Lekgotla
Ikatisong School of Governance in the Office of the Premier is to host the VTSD Skills Development Lekgotla at Christiana in Lekwa-Teemane Local Municipality next month. The objective of the Lekgotla which will be held under the theme - “VTSD Skills Revolution for Radical Socio-Economic Transformation” is to deepen skills development efforts in responding to the needs of the VTSD economy.
The VTSD Skills Development Lekgotla will amongst others devise strategies to expand the pool of skills required in the VTSD economy and will create a platform for discussions on skills development initiatives that will contribute to the Rebranding, Repositioning and Renewal of the Province as mandated by the National Development Plan.
Premier SOR Mahumapelo will deliver a key note address to a gathering which is to be attended by over 300 delegates.
The Lekgotla will be held as follows
Date: 6 to 8 September 2017
Venue: Madiba Banquet Hall – Potchefstroom (NW 405 LM)
Time: 8h00 – 16h00
