Premier Stan Mathabatha officiates sod turning for house of Tladi Selekeng, 21 Oct

Limpopo Provincial Government restore the pride of the senior citizen

Limpopo Provincial Government continues to restore the dignity of destitute families. The Premier of Limpopo Chupu Stanley Mathabatha will officiate the sod turning of the house to be built for Koko Tladi Selekeng. The 85 years grandmother shares a dilapidated house with her three grandchildren at Ga- Thari, Manganeng village under Makhuduthamaga Municipality. The mud house she built is roofed with corrugated irons and balanced with stones on top. The family lives in fear during heavy winds and rains as the house may collapse any time.

The Premier and his Members of Executive Council will then proceed to interact with the residents on service delivery at an EXCO Imbizo. The EXCO programme will be held at Mampuru sports ground in Manganeng, Makhuduthamaga Municipality under Sekhukhune District.

EXCO Imbizo is an interactive programme between government leaders and communities. The aim of the outreach programme is for government leadership to access first-hand information. This is also a platform for communities to raise issues concerning service delivery and let government intervene.

Besides EXCO members, the Premier will also be accompanied by Executive Mayor of Sekhukhune District Cllr Stanley Ramaila, Mayor of Makhuduthamaga Municipality Cllr Minah Bahula, traditional leaders, Acting Director-General of our province and senior government officials.

The EXCO Imbizo is scheduled as follows:
Date: Friday, 21 October 2016
Time: 9h00
Venue: Mampuru Sports Stadium, Manganeng Village, Makhuduthamaga Municipality, Sekhukhune District.
