President Jacob Zuma will tonight, 31 July 2017, address the African Farmers Association of South Africa (AFASA) Agribusiness Transformation Conference Gala Dinner at the Birchwood Hotel and Conference Centre, in Boksburg.
The AFASA Agribusiness Transformation Conference seeks to bring together champions of the agribusiness sector to review attempts of transformation in the sector and reflect on investment strategies to advance inclusive and competitive agri-industry. The three-day conference will also showcase efforts made to promote commercial black farmers and entrepreneurs within the sector. Agriculture and agro-processing remain top priority in the government’s Nine-Point Plan.
