President Jacob Zuma has extended his deepest condolences on the sad passing of eminent academic, author and feminist, Ms Phyllis Ntantala-Jordan, who passed away yesterday at the age of 96.
A consummate activist in her own right, Mama Phyllis was married to the late literary historian, Archibald Campbell Jordan and is mother to ANC stalwart, Mr Pallo Jordan.
“We wish to convey our deepest condolences to the Jordan family, friends and relatives. We have lost a pioneer and an inspiration to many people. May her soul rest in peace,” said President Zuma.
