President Jacob Zuma has, in terms of section 4(1)(c) read with section 7(2) of the Media Development and Diversity Agency Act, 2002 (Act No. 14 of 2002), appointed Ms Zanele Mngadi as a member of the Media Development and Diversity Agency (MDDA) Board.
Ms Mngadi has worked as a journalist and as a government communicator for 20 years including leading communications in the Presidency for more than a decade.
She now serves as chief of staff in the Department of Environmental Affairs.
President Zuma has wished Ms Mngadi well in her new responsibilities.
