President Cyril Ramaphosa replies to debate on 2020 State of the Nation Address, 20 Feb

President Cyril Ramaphosa will today, Thursday, 20 February 2020, reply to the Debate on the State of the Nation Address in Parliament in Cape Town. 

The President delivered the State of the Nation Address on 13 February 2020 to a Joint Sitting of Parliament, where he outlined the action plan towards placing the economy on a path of recovery and building the capability of the state.

Members of the National Assembly and the National Council of Provinces have over the last two days, 18 – 19 February 2020, debated the Address and offered inputs for the President to consider as the 6th administration give effect to government’s plans for the year and the political term ahead.

The President’s State of the Nation Address focused on inclusive growth and committed to ensure excellence in planning and execution in government for the year ahead.
