New Ministers do not need to be sworn in again
President Jacob Zuma has brought into effect his announcement of the appointment of new Ministers of Finance and Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs through the President’s Act.
No swearing-in ceremony will be held because Mr Pravin Gordhan (Finance) and Mr David van Rooyen (COGTA) are already serving as Ministers and were sworn in when they assumed the positions.
The President announced the two new appointments last night, 13 December 2015.
