Premier Mahumapelo to handover two school libraries and a house
Premier Supra Mahumapelo of Bokone Bophirima Province will on Wednesday, 26 July 2017 handover libraries to two primary schools in Vresgewacht and Sannieshof respectively, as well as a Breaking New Ground house in Kopela village, Tswaing Local Municipality.
The handover of libraries is part of the provincial government efforts to instill the culture of reading amongst learners, with a special focus on Villages, Townships and Small Dorpies (VTSD) and farm schools. The provincial government will also ensure decent housing, security and comfort to the less fortunate in the province’s VTSD areas, when a house will also be handed over to a family in Kopela village.
Handing over of the school libraries will be as follows:

Venue: Doornbuild Primary School – a farm school between Sannieshof and Delareyville
: Marotse Primary School in Vresgewacht village near Manamolela

The Bokone Bophirima Executive Council, comprising Premier Mahumapelo and all MECs, will thereafter hold its monthly meeting at Kopela village, this as part of taking government to the people, and in particular Villages, Townships and Small Dorpies.
