Premier Job Mokgoro visits flood affected areas in Dr Ruth Segomotsi Mompati District, 8 Feb

North West Premier Prof Tebogo Job Mokgoro will tomorrow, Monday 08 February 2021, visit Vryburg and Taung in Dr Ruth Segomotsi Mompati District, to assess the damage caused by the recent heavy rainfall.

Premier Mokgoro will lead an executive team comprising MECs Mmoloki Cwaile of Cooperative Governance, Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs, Boitumelo Moiloa of Social Development and Gaoage Molapisi of Public Works and Roads, as well as Heads of these Departments and Administrators.

Areas to be visited include the N14 between Vryburg and Kuruman where the road is severely damaged by floods, as well as Mokgareng, Mokasa, Buxton, Motsweding, Tamasikwa, Kgomotso and Matlapeng villages in Greater Taung Local Municipality.

The Premier and his entourage will start at the N14 road at 11h30, before leaving for Greater Taung Local Municipality.
