Premier David Makhura will on Tuesday, 24 May 2016, Office of the Premier's Budget Vote for the 2016/2017 financial year at the Gauteng Legislature.
The Budget Vote coincides with the two-year anniversary of the current administration's term of office. In his address the Premier will report on the progress made on the implementation of the government's 10-Pillar programme of Transformation, Modernisation and Reindustrialisation.
Premier’s Budget Vote speech will be preceded by a media briefing by the Governance and Planning Cluster, of which the Office of the Premier is part. Chaired by Roads and Transport MEC Ismail Vadi, the Governance and Planning Cluster is constituted by the departments of Roads and Transport, Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs and the Office of the Premier.
