North West Legislature Speaker to host ‘Legislature Engages Community in Prayer Session’ in Bloemhof
On Thursday, 28 July 2016, the Speaker of the North West Provincial Legislature, Hon. Sussana Dantjie will be hosting Engage with the Legislature programme under the theme “Legislature Engages Community in Prayer” at Boitumelong Sportsground in Bloemhof at 9h00.
The purpose of the event is to encourage a spirit of ensuring broader understanding and educating our people of Bokone-Bophirima on the role and responsibilities of the Legislature, with the aim of profiling the Legislature and enhancing oversight. It also aims to reconcile, heal and renew the people of the North West province through actively involving participation of the religious sector together with relevant government bodies towards strengthening oversight and public participation.
Members of the Legislature together with religious leaders from different church fraternities will attend the event.
