National Prayer Day for Police as part of Police Safety Month

The South African Police Service (SAPS) will be hosting a National Prayer Day for Police Safety at the Dutch Reformed Church, Oosterlig Congregation, Constantia Park in Pretoria East, as part of its observance of September as Police Safety Month.

The Police Safety Month, which was declared to increase safety awareness and highlight the challenge of attacks on police employees, is linked to the Police’s Commemoration Day, which is held in September annually.

The members of the media are cordially invited to join the men and women in blue and its top management, by being part of this occasion of police officers who selflessly dedicate their unlimited time and lives for the safety of the citizens of this country.
