Mineral Resources Minister Mosebenzi J. Zwane (MP) will today address the National Assembly on the Mineral and Petroleum Resources Development Amendment Bill.
The Bill was returned to Parliament by the President of the Republic, His Excellency JG Zuma, to ascertain if it would pass Constitutional muster.
The Minister’s address follows processes by the Portfolio Committee on Mineral Resources to finalise the Bill.
The finalisation of the Bill bodes well for the attraction and retention of investments into the South African mining industry.
