Social Development Committee to discuss amendments on proposed Bills
The Portfolio Committee on Social Development will tomorrow (9 March 2016) discuss amendments to the proposed Children’s Amendment Bill as well as the Children’s Second Amendment Bill.
This after the Committee has adopted a motion of non-desirability to a Private Member’s Bill which raised similar issues that were covered in the two proposed Bills. The Committee has already conducted public hearings on the two proposed Bills.
