COGTA Deputy Minister responsible for Traditional Affairs, Honourable Obed Bapela will visit Orange Farm, South of Johannesburg as part of the department crack down of illegal initiations schools.
The Deputy Minister will also meet with the parents of the children who have been kidnapped and taken to illegal initiation schools without their consent at Orange Farm. Deputy Minister said “Government will deal harshly with the cruel heartless thugs who kidnap and assault these young initiation in the name of making them a man”.
The visit will conclude by meeting with the Orange Farm Police Station Commissioner to address the challenges that parents have been raising with him that police do not assist them when they open cases of child kidnaping.
