North West Tourism hosts 2016 Inter-Tourism games, 25 to 27 Mar

The North West Department of Tourism together with the North West Tourism Board will as from 25 to 27 March 2016 host the Inter-Tourism Games at the Olympia Stadium in Rustenburg.

The purpose of these games is to promote the physical wellness of departmental employees and also promote international tourism relations between counterparts from other countries and as such, share of ideas, exchange best practices and subsequently act as a catalyst for boosting tourism in the SADC region.

Participating countries include Botswana, Lesotho, Swaziland and the host North West Province will be representing South Africa and the sporting codes will include football, netball, volleyball and indigenous games such as morabaraba, dikebe and kgati.

The games will be held as follows:
