The North West Premier, SOR Mahumapelo on behalf of the people of the North West Province, congratulates Hon. David Van Rooyen on his appointment as Minister of Finance. The Precidency announced the appointment of Van Rooyen as minister of Finance yesterday.
“As people who worked with him before the incorporation of Merafong into Gauteng Province, we know him as a hard worker, disciplined, principled, knowledgeable and qualified for the work.” Said Mahumapelo
Mahumapelo further said that he is confident that under Van Rooyen there will be more consultation, openness, frankness and closer working relations with Provinces and the Private Sector
