On Friday, 29 July 2016, the Speaker of the North West Provincial Legislature, Hon. Sussana Dantjie will be hosting the Reconciliation, Healing and Renewal Programme at Vula Sportsground in Lethabong village in Rustenburg Local Municipality at 9h00.
The Reconciliation, Healing and Renewal programme’s main purpose it to reconcile, heal and renew the people of the North West province through actively involving participation of the religious sector together with relevant government bodies towards strengthening oversight and public participation.
Religious leaders from different church fraternities will also pray for the leadership of the North West Province and for an incident free election day on 3 August 2016. About 3 000 people in all five municipalities under Bojanala District will attend the event.
There will be no campaigning for political parties but a prayer session for local government elections.
