On Friday, 05 February 2016, the Speaker of the North West Provincial Legislature, Hon. Sussana Dantjie will host “Engaging with the Legislature” programme at Bakubung Ba Ratheo tribal hall at Ledig in Moses Kotane Local Municipality.
The event themed: “Know your Legislature – Itse Kokoano- peo molao ya gago,” was launched on the 11 September 2015 by Hon. Sussana Dantjie and focuses on: The role of the legislature; the role of the members of the public and civil societies in the Legislature as well as, Enhancing Public Participation in the North West Province.
The programme envisages to inculcate the broader understanding of Bokone-Bophirima Citizenry about the roles and responsibilities of the Legislature through continuous education in this regard. It also aims, at profiling the Legislature and enhancing oversight responsibility.
