North West Legislature Education Committee to urgently meet Education Department MEC over serious infrastructural challenges at Maiketlo Primary School in Morokweng
On Thursday, 7 April 2016, the North West Provincial Legislature’s Portfolio Committee on Education, Sports, Culture, Arts and Traditional Affairs will hold an urgent meeting with the MEC for Department of Education and Sports Development, Wendy Matsemela over serious infrastructural challenges that the Committee discovered during an oversight visit at Maiketso Primary School in Morokweng.
The meeting will be held at Mini-Garona building in Vryburg at 17h00.
MEC Matsemela and senior management of the department will account to the Committee on why the school has never been renovated nor maintained since its construction by community members in 1980.
