On Thursday, 28 January 2016, the North West Provincial Legislature’s Portfolio Committee on Education, Sports, Culture, Arts and Traditional Affairs will conduct an oversight visit to Mphe-Bana Secondary School in Reagile township in Koster. According to media reports the school is experiencing challenges of overcrowding, shortage of furniture for learners, dysfunctional toilets and security for many years.
Members of the Portfolio Committee will interact with the school management team to also assess the school’s readiness for 2016 and challenges they are facing. Officials from the Department of Education and Sports Development will also be present.
