The total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases in the North West Province as at, Thursday 30 April 2020 is 31. This represents an increase of two cases from previously reported cases.
NEW CASES
The two new positive cases were identified during mass testing and screening in Madibeng Local Municipality. Both are females aged 32 and 39 years. Our COVID-19 contact tracing team in Madibeng will begin a process of contact tracing. The total number of people screened for COVID-19 is 1 052 178.
TESTS
The total number of COVID-19 tests conducted in the Province as at 26 April 2020 is 2544. The number includes tests done at both private and public laboratories.

The total number of people in hospital in the North West Province is four.
RECOVERIES
A total of 20 COVID-19 confirmed positive persons have recovered. Sixteen recoveries are in Bojanala, two in Dr. Kenneth Kaunda and one each in Ngaka Modiri Molema and Dr. Ruth Segomotsi Mompati.
