Eastern Cape Legislature on swearing-in of Pumelele Ndamase

New MPL sworn in - EC Legislature

Mr Pumelele Ndamase was sworn in as a new Member of the Provincial Legislature by the Speaker, Ms Noxolo Kiviet today. The vacancy came after the resignation of former MPL Mluleki Dlelanga last month to serve as the National Secretary of the Young Communist League of South Africa.

Ndamase as a tried and tested cadre of the movement. “As an outstanding leader in the ANC and an experienced comrade you know the journey and our will to deliver to the people of the Province”. We are sure that you will do the work of the organisation diligently and we are happy to be joined by someone of your calibre”, adds Sokujika.

The new MPL pledged to perform his functions to the best of his abilities. Hon. Ndamase is no stranger to the institution.
