The National Commissioner of Correctional Services, Zachariah Modise, will host a Media Tour and also hand over certificates to the newly qualified artisans serving time at the Boksburg Correctional Centre in Gauteng.
The purpose of the media tour is to showcase work done to empower offenders with highly sought after technical skills as part of the rehabilitation programme. Offenders qualified as artisans in wood machining, cabinet making and upholstery and will receive their certificates.
