Minister Mildred Oliphant and Zambian counterpart signs Memorandum of Understanding on labour issues, 19 Jul

The Minister of Labour, Mildred Oliphant and Zambian Minister of Labour and Social security will tomorrow sign a Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) that will see cooperation between the two countries on the following issues:

• Collective bargaining;
• Dispute resolution systems; and
• Labour inspections;
• Social dialogue;
• Labour market information;
• Occupational health and safety;
• HIV and AIDS and Wellness in the workplace;
• International labour cooperation issues;
• Social security issues relating to unemployment insurance and compensation;
• Productivity issues;
