Regrettably, 230 deaths have been reported: Eastern Cape 24, Free State 7, Gauteng 21, Kwa-Zulu Natal 27, Limpopo 122, Mpumalanga 10, North West 0, Northern Cape 0 and Western Cape 19 which brings the total to 48 708 deaths
