Minister Senzeni Zokwana addresses launch of Citrus Growers Association Grower Development Company, 18 Mar

Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Minister, Senzeni Zokwana will announce plans to bring black citrus growers into the main stream of the agriculture economy during the launch of the Citrus Growers Association Grower Development Company, a transformation arm of the Citrus Growers Association of Southern Africa.

The start of this transformation programme is a response to challenges faced by many black citrus growers struggling to have viable, sustainable and profitable citrus growing businesses that contribute to the country’s economic growth in pursuit of the national development plan objectives.

During his speech, Minister Zokwana will announce his plans to work with the CGA to support the CGAGDC to achieve its mandate by providing tailor made support to black citrus growers to grow their businesses.
