The Minister of Telecommunications and Postal Services Dr Siyabonga Cwele to co-launch a Telkom connectivity programme
The Minister of Telecommunications and Postal Services Dr Siyabonga Cwele and the Minister of Basic Education Mrs Angie Motshekga are scheduled to co-launch a Telkom connectivity programme in education in Winterveldt on 19 July 2017.
The Ministers will be accompanied by Gauteng Education MEC Mr Panyaza Lesufi and representatives of Telkom.
The connectivity programme is an intervention that is being made by Telkom at five high schools in West Tshwane townships over the next five years. It is aimed at using Information and Communication Technologies to modernise learning and teaching in key areas of ICT, Mathematics and Science in township schools.
