The Minister of Human Settlements Lindiwe Sisulu will tomorrow meet with leaders of the religious community in the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality to brief them about progress made since the Cabinet sanctioned intervention in the Metro’s human settlements department.
Minister Sisulu will also provide feedback to the religious community on the issues they raised with her at the last meeting held on 17 July 2016 where they raised the difficulties they encountered with the Metro’s human settlements department when applying for land to build churches in the City.
The Minister will also in the morning be visiting Walmer Q Section where she will inspect the project to build 189 houses that was started last year as one of the first to be undertaken since the Intervention in Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality.
