Minister Susan Shabangu engages with Mmakau Village community as part of Imbizo Focus Week, 11 Apr

Minister in the Presidency responsible for Women, Susan Shabangu will on Saturday, 11 April, visit Mmakau Village at Madibeng Local Municipality in North West to engage with communities as part of the Imbizo Focus Week. This has seen members of the executive across government going to various communities to explain government’s programme of action, amplify and expand details of government’s plans. Also to promote social partnerships and receive feedback from the citizens.

Minister Shabangu accompanied by provincial and local government leaders will pay a visit to families affected by violence against women and children (VAW) in Mmakau. She will also conduct a walkabout at a White Door Project for victims of (VAW) before proceeding to interact with the community at the public meeting.

Members of the media are invited and encouraged to attend.

The Imbizo will take place as follows:
