Minister Jeff Radebe addresses launch of Press Club of South Africa, 10 Mar

The Minister in Presidency for Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation and Chairperson of the National Planning Commission, Mr Jeff Radebe, MP, will deliver the key note address at the launch of Press Club of South Africa.

The objective of the launch is to open up a space for members of the media and communications fraternity to gravitate towards each other for the conversations on everything from the role of media as a driver of democracy, to the casual socialising required to be in the loop on the shifts, changes and fluctuations of the industry as well as creating space for members of the media and communication profession to find opportunities for an ongoing conversation about the future and the role of media and communications.

The new media communications club will bring together thought leaders in the fields of media, communications, marketing, PR and advertising to use their knowledge towards establishing growth platforms for young talent in the industry through our youth development programme, and additionally creating the space for a sense of belonging to a society of people who value the core principles of media and communications fraternity.
