The Minister of Water and Sanitation, Ms. Nomvula Mokonyane, will today meet with the Chairpersons of all Water Boards and Utilities from through-out the country.
The meeting is aimed at assessing current drought interventions, implementation of water restrictions and the management and implementation of major water and sanitation infrastructure projects.
The Minister intends to strengthen alignment between the objectives of the department and the deliverables of the water entities to fast-track delivery of water and sanitation services and to secure the water future of South Africa.
